Yemen is currently undergoing a humanitarian crisis. A civil war and extreme poverty has created a famine where more than 2 thirds of the country is unable to access sufficient amounts of food. To help the people of Yemen, Youth Rising held a community bottle drive in which we were able to raise enough money to feed over 430 people. The money raised was donated to Yemen Hope and Relief, which is an organization that carries out food distributions and ensures sick children receive the medical attention they require.
